Online Student Admission System in PHP Free Source Code

This project is an Online Student Admission System that manages certain school's admissions and other data/records. This system stores the list of the students along with the relevant information. The system has many features such as enrollment, admission application, performance management, and many more. The system is functional and free to download. The system was built/developed using PHP MYSQLi.

About the Online Student Admission System

The system was developed using PHP/MySQLi, MySQL Database, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Bootstrap. The system has 2 types of users which are the admin and students. On the public website, the student can be applied for admission using the scratch card details as the system requires. After entering the PIN and the Serial Number, the applicant will be redirected to a form where he/she will enter his/her details. On the Admin Side, the admin can view all the list of applications and can admit the application, cancel the admission, and delete the application.

How to Run

Requirements

• Download and Install any local web server such as XAMPP/WAMP.
• Download the provided source code zip file. (download button is located below)

Installation/Setup

1. Open your XAMPP/WAMP's Control Panel and start the Apache and MySQL .
2. Extract the downloaded source code zip file.
3. If you are using XAMPP, copy the extracted source code folder and paste it into the XAMPP's "htdocs" directory. And If you are using WAMP, paste it into the "www" directory.
4. Browse the PHPMyAdmin in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/phpmyadmin
5. Create a new database naming online-admission .
6. Import the provided SQL file. The file is known as online-admission.sql located inside the extracted source code folder.
7. Browse the Online Student Admission System in a browser. i.e. http://localhost/online-admission-system-RITMAN/ and http://localhost/online-admission-system-RITMAN/admin for the admin side.
